Black Bears Hunting Pink Salmon in Alaska

Living in Alaska provides countless wildlife viewing and filming possibilities, Michael has located a salmon stream were black bears regularly hunt and eat pink “humpy” salmon.

There are some many salmon returning to spawn every summer in Alaska, which means they become a favorite menu item for brown and black bears. Some of the best bear and salmon interactions require a bush plane excursion but there are a few accessible rivers and streams on the road system this video is from one of those locations.
